TEA Party Rally
On April 15th at 12:00 noon, on the Courthouse steps the citizens of Huntington will have the opportunity to have their voices be heard by peacefully assembling in order to declare to our local, state, and federal representatives, that WE THE PEOPLE, will hold them accountable for the decisions they are making. Just as our founders stood for liberty through boycotting tea, we can also stand for our liberty and freedoms by the actions we take!!
If you are concerned about:
-
Government’s out of control spending
-
Government’s abuse of taxes

Corrupt power in government
-
Lack of accountability in government
-
Judicial tyranny
-
Redistribution of wealth
-
Attacks on businesses and capitalism
-
Disregard for America’s Christian heritage
-
Disregard for our founding documents and freedoms
-
Elected Representatives’ failure to represent their constituents
Then you don’t want to miss this TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party!
This is a NON partisan event open to all American citizens. We will have speakers and information to assist our citizens in having their voices heard!

Let Your Voice Be Heard!!!
…that the free constitution, which is the work of your hands, may be sacredly maintained- that it’s administration in every department may be stamped with wisdom and virtue…George Washington 9/17/1796
Have You Heard?
In case you haven’t heard, this TEA Party is all about giving our citizens a voice to present our grievances to our government in a peaceful but powerful way! Just today the budget was passed for $3.5 TRILLION!!! On top of all the other trillion, in spite of the fact that the majority of American citizens do not support such large spending. In addition, states around the country are now raising and creating new taxes to help pay for everything. In Indiana they are considering raising the food and beverage, hotel, and liqueur taxes. In Huntington they have recently initiated a LOIT tax on it’s citizens. This recent federal budget also included major health care reform, (nationalized) health care, which both parties agree they have no idea how they will pay for. These are just a few issues, as many of you know that are flying through our nation at breakneck speed without, so it seems, consideration given to us, the hardworking taxpayer who is going to have to somehow pay for it all.
Please help us send a strong message from Huntington to our representatives. Let’s get their attention and let them know that we are holding them accountable for what they are doing and that we will remember this in 2010!
This is a non-partisan event and all are welcome!
