HCCSC to hold special reorganization meeting, interview District 3 candidates

The Huntington County Community School Board will hold a special session at 6 p.m. Monday, July 12 at the Administrative Services Center for reorganization purposes. The board trustees will also interview three of the five candidates who applied to fill the District 3 vacancy on the School Board.

A general consensus of the Huntington County Community School Board trustees has HCCSC Administration preparing to post an advertisement for an interim principal of Huntington North High School for the 2010-2011 school year.

School Board approves New Tech construction proposal

The Huntington County Community School Board voted 4-3 to stick to the original New Tech proposal, using no more than $118,000 in taxpayer-generated funds to convert a block of 10 classrooms into Huntington North’s New Tech High School.
