HCCSC to hold special reorganization meeting, interview District 3 candidates
The Huntington County Community School Board will hold a special session at 6 p.m. Monday, July 12 at the Administrative Services Center for reorganization purposes. The board trustees will also interview three of the five candidates who applied to fill the District 3 vacancy on the School Board.
12 HCCSC teachers to receive pink slips
Twelve teachers from various schools in the Huntington County Community School Corporation will receive their pink slips this week after the School Board voted 4-3 to approve a teacher reduction.
School Board approves New Tech construction proposal
The Huntington County Community School Board voted 4-3 to stick to the original New Tech proposal, using no more than $118,000 in taxpayer-generated funds to convert a block of 10 classrooms into Huntington North’s New Tech High School.
