Felts cleared by the Election Board

“It was a stupid mistake, but not a fraudulent mistake … There is no proof of any fraud on the part of the clerk or her staff. There are obvious procedures that need to be addressed,” County Election Board President Carmen Oswalt said.

County Election Board to hold meeting about complaint

The County Election Board will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, April 16 in the GAR Room on the second floor of the County Courthouse to discuss the complaint Ray Tackett filed regarding the date/time stamp on a candidate filing form admittedly hand-altered by Felts.
