Although it could probably be said of many close-knit communities, the rumor mill in Huntington is never still, but perpetually grinding out both truths and falsehoods at the rate that water pours from a bottomless bucket.

The Huntington City Council voted 6-1 to pass the new sign ordinance on Tuesday night, with Councilman Steve McIntyre giving the only dissenting vote.
