City Council Approves West Annexation, and Drops East Annexation

Huntington Common Council met this evening at 7pm for a vote on the East and West annexation ordinances. Mayor Steve Updike read his prepared statement regarding the withdrawal of the proposal for the East Annexation.  Afterwards, the motion to withdrawal passed unanimously.  The West annexation, which has received little critisism, passed unanimously on the first reading.
