Huntington Citizens Against Annexation Inc. Filed a lawsuit against the city of Huntington yesterday. The lawsuit’s complaint is that the public hearing meeting should be nullified because all interested parties were not allowed to speak during the meeting while it was open for public comment. The suit claims that Mayor Steve Updike did not allow people wishing to speak during the open portion of the meeting to speak while the meeting was still open for comment and that in addition, individuals standing in the hallway outside of the meeting chambers were never given a chance to speak.
