July 15, 2008- According to Huntington County Clerk Vicki Stoffel, Huntington County Republican Chairwoman Pam Updike has decided to withdrawal her challenge to the candidacy of Democratic Candidates for Huntington County Council Gary L. Snyder and Don Ness.
Gary L. Snyder also released the following statement:
“I am elated Mrs. Updike has decided to withdrawal her challenge to my candidacy for County Council and would like to thank her for doing so. Her attempt to disenfranchise the voters of Huntington County was unwarranted and we can now focus the debate on the important issues facing Huntington County’s dismissed middle-class. A debate that will focus on bringing good paying jobs, lower taxes and fiscal responsibility back to Huntington County.”
